I find this sort of funny, but they are letting me keep my printer/fax/scanner/copier machine. It's huge and expensive. I suppose if we get real desperate I can sell it or something.

Maybe now is the time for me to make an investment. I could always hire Bob's Digital or something and do some pregnant porn.

A couple months before my mom lost her job, her company purchased a HUGE desk set for her. It was a giant L-shaped desk w/ an overhead cupboard that had glass doors - very nice stuff. My dad spent a whole day putting it together for her.

The day they fired her (which was also her birthday), they said, "Yeah, we're going to need that desk back. And the iphone we just gave you. And all your files and binders. But you can keep the filing cabinet."

I wish. At that point, she was still hoping to get a job within the same industry, which was very small. She didn't want to tarnish her name, so she said fuckyouverymuch and sent it all back.
