We did the first concert you ever went to, now how about this:
Who would play at your ideal concert? Pick and opener and a headliner.
Re: Another concert poll:
Opener: Brooks & Dunn
Headliner: Randy Travis. I will be SO sorry if I don't see him before he retires!
Opener: Pat Green
Headliner: Sister Hazel
Openers: Doubledrive (no longer together)
Kilgore (no longer together)
Headliner: Alter Bridge
Opener - Steely Dan
Headliner - The Beatles (with all 4!)
This is only a wish thing...
Openers: Jimi Hendrix
Headliner: The Beatles
I've been dying to see U2 period. Never can afford the tickets. They always sell out too fast! I don't know who I'd open for them though.
Opener: Sheryl Crow
Headliner: Whitney Houston
Opener: I don't care as long as I can hear.......
Headliner: JOURNEY with the original STEVE PERRY!
Awh, the new guy is pretty darn good though, dont ya think?
Ugh I absolutely loved Whitney! She was one of the earliest memories I have of a female artist, (besides Madonna), that I remember looking up to. I would get a brush and dance around to "oh I wanna dance with somebody" and I totally remember when she did "I believe the children are our future".
I never wanted to believe she was really on drugs or anything until a few years back it was so hard to deny.
In her good days she was so classy and strong and beautiful and her voice was like no other. IMO she has one of the most amazing voices I had ever heard. Remember the Nation anthem that she sung? Or the notes she hit on "I will always love you"?
I'm glad she got rid of Bobby and I hope she comes back better than ever!
NewlyMrsM you just brought back memories!!!!
I literally cry whenever I hear her rendition of the national anthem at the Superbowl. My other fave is the Olympic song she did ... I think it was the 88 Olympics called One Moment In Time.
And I'm so happy she's coming back. I can't wait.
Wow! No way! An acquaintence of mine was in Kilgore for awhile. I saw them quite a few times.
This is another tough poll for me! I'm such a music lover, and I like so many different genres.
I think I'd like to see Duran Duran, circa 1984 (Sing Blue Silver tour)...I was a huge Duranie from age 10-15. Then, follow them up with The Beatles.
Although, I have to say that Jennythebride08's response was great, too...love Journey with Steve Perry!
This is a tough one....
Opener: Bob Dylan
Headliner: The Beatles
