ATTN: Whit/GingerBread/Princess/Parrot

Calling all Sherman Oaks / Studio City .......Valley Girls. (you girls are the ones i see for sure from the area...sorry if i left you out)

I live in Studio City and am oh you know...3 weeks away from giving birth and dont know who is going to care for my baby when I go back to work.

What are you ladies doing? Suggestions? Nanny's?

TIA...

Re: ATTN: Whit/GingerBread/Princess/Parrot

  • Sorry, we don't have any little ones, but here's what I've heard from friends:

The Mary Alice O'Connor day care in Burbank is great, but pretty pricey, from what I hear - it's on the corner of Verdugo and Buena Vista. There's also the Toluca Lake Crossroads on Cahuenga (you may have to work at one of the major studios to qualify).

    Good luck!

  • Thanks gingerbread! I guess i just assumed you did...or would soon :-)

  • Sorry, I don't have any suggestions :( I am still early and both my dh and I have a pretty flexible work schedule, so we might be looking into a part time nanny.  Let me knwo what you find. Good luck and I'll let you know if I hear anything at my prenatal yoga class next week!
  • www.ccrcla.org will allow you to search by zip code and facility type (home daycare, child care facility, days of the week, etc)

I've used this and have been happy with the care that I found for my girls

    Good luck and best wishes!
