Addicted to new Super Mario Bros
I'm not a huge video game fan, I usually suck at everything and lose interest very quickly. I bought my husband the new super mario bros and we've been both playing it the last two nights. it's very addictive and actually fun! We're in world 3 now. Anyone else get the game?
Re: Addicted to new Super Mario Bros
We did! My DH is flying through it, but I am following at a sedate pace, as I suck only slightly less at this than I did at the old-school version
We can't do the multiplayer stuff, since his skill level is much higher than mine and it ends up being frustrating for me.
My one gripe is that you can't save your game at the lower levels. I keep having to start again from the beginning, and it's annoying.
are you talking about super mario bros wii? OMG, my brother, DH and I were playing it nonstop and finished the game in around 4 hours...but that was skipping through stages and not getting coins. We went back and went through each stage again to get all the coins. We were hooked and finished the game in 2 weeks.
LOVE IT!!!
We were playing on Christmas Eve and my sister in law and I (both avid Nintendo players back in the day) were playing multi player with my 11 year old nephew (he has no idea what it was like back in the day!) and yelling at each other half the time. My brother finally told us we weren't allowed to play anymore lol but it's a good time. I'm playing one solo game and one with my dh who isn't that great at the game
yup. DH and I played together instead of taking turns like the old one. We played with 4 players at one point and it was bit much...we kept on stealing each other's items and and killing each other..lol
Yes! H received it Monday from his mom - she forgot to pack it in the box of gifts she sent last week, so it was an unexpected surprise.
So much fun! I suck at some of it, because I get impatient in the parts where you have to time everything perfectly (like the sand geysers). I've already had to "continue" twice.
Dreading more water levels, because those are by far my least favorite. I think we're in the second world; we're playing through together.
