New to RICHMOND
Hope everyone is ready for 2010! Well I actually get married in Sept. (no set day yet). My fiance started a new job here in Richmond so we have been here about 5 months and have quickly fallen in love with what this place has to offer. I drive an hour to charlottesville for work and coach a swim team so we haven't really had the chance to meet many people. We have a beautiful chocolate lab and would love to meet up with some couples in the area to dog walk/play, explore this new city, and enjoy great company.

Welcome! I'm glad you like the area! There are a few new people on the board, so maybe once all of the craziness from the holidays settles down we'll try and plan a GTG. In the meantime, if you have any questions or want to meet up for coffee or something, let us know!

Welcome to the board and to the area. I know a lot of people that drive from Richmond to Cville or vice versa. DH did it for 2 years too. We live in Glen Allen/ Short Pump. We have a couple we are good friends with and they also have a chocolate lab/ mix....they live on the soutside.
We are looking to get a golden pup sometime late spring/ summer hopefully.
I'm always up for grabbing food, drinks, or coffee
