a "hi" to the nesties and an update!
hi ladies!
first of all thank you to mrs.darah for the birthday shout out and thank you for all the birthday wishes! my day wasn't nearly as exciting as kirsteninNH, just eve and i chilling at home and catching up on laundry...funtimes. DH had to work all day, but will be taking me out on friday to the melting pot (our 4th date since miss eve was born) sad, i know.
we have been going here, there and everywhere this summer, which has been loads of fun, but totally exhausting. traveling is a whole new ballgame with an infant. nevertheless, lots of fun. at the end of june we spent a week on lake winni. a relaxing and perfect first vaca with a baby. we called her nature girl all week because she was perfectly content being naked and sleeping on a blanket in the shade. we recently got back from nantucket with the inlaws and had a blast being beach bums and enjoying the AMAZING fish we had. i practically licked my plate clean at one of the restaurants we dined at. another laid back week. eve has been so easy to take to restaurants and travel with. we were caught in over 4 hours of traffic on the way home and she didn't make a peep until exit 6 (10 mins from the house) but thank goodness for the banana boat song by harry belafonte....eve goes into a trance everytime she hears it and immediately quiets down.
i am currently trying to manage a part time schedule at the studio and still keep up with taking dance classes, but it is so hard and exhausting. by the time i put eve down at night the LAST thing i want to do is get in the car and bust a move. ah well.
i come on the nest and try to catch up on all the exciting news going on here and see the updated pics of the babies...so cute...every single one of them!
now i must take advantage of the quiet moment i have and go eat something!
