9. Any other special dances/songs you want to add... We had them play old songs from the "Rat Pack" during dinner, it made the mood fun and relaxing.
We had the DJ play our parent's first dance songs for them, so they could have a special "spotlight" dance, they all loved it.
Towards the end of the day our DJ, me, DH, our bridal party, the groomsmen's wives, our parents, and about 20 of their and our friends line danced to one of DH's favorite songs, Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy. It was a riot, and we have it all on video. We all did an excellent job considering it we all learned the dance from the DJ in about two minutes on the spot.
They played the chicken dance while DH & I were to go changing into our clothes to leave. I was so pissed, I wanted to do the chicken dance at my own wedding! It was on our play list, but we thought the DJ had forgot to play it, until we got our video back. At the very end before we came back down to make our exit, were about 25 peoiple doing the chicken dance.
1, 2, 3 ( c & P from our program which is still saved on the computer) it was Catholic so we had a somewhat limited selection of songs for certain parts.

7. our cake song was Adam Sandler's I wanna grow old with you. I forget the others. I think I let the DJ pick.
8.The last song the DJ played was Sweet Caroline and then everyone made an arch which we ran through and they sang something...
9. wedding party danced to that brad paisley song - all you really need is love, our DJ was also a wedding singer, (and he is Irish so he was able to sing some of the old Irish songs for the many Irish guests) but then many of our guests also sang. My MOH sang "the hills of Donegal" for my mom, she;s from county Donegal in Ireland, she also sang a fermanagh song, anna from fermanagh maybe for my dad. my parents sang a duet- johnny lovely johnny, admittedly I was getting a little tiny bit sick of the singing, cuz I wanted the younger crowd to be able to dance.
at one point the DJ had everyone on the floor pretending to row boats and singing along to "rock the boat"
we also did an anniversary dance, to I forget which song...
It was driving me crazy that I couldn't remember some songs, so I had to look for my DJ instructions...
