Random question

Do you wear lipstick? On a daily basis?

I hate lipstick. I think it's a product of seeing my mom load way too much on in the 80s & 90s. I do go through a ton of chapstick, so my lips are always nice and moisturized. But I guess I don't see the appeal of slathering on some waxy red crap that'll just smudge off in an hour. (<-- says the girl with little to no fashion sense)

Re: Random question

  • Though I have tons of different lipsticks, I *maybe* wear lipstick once a week.  If I do, it's not full on, it will be applied lightly.

Most of the time it's a tinted lipgloss or lip balm.

  • I prefer gloss. But I only wear it when I wear make up and that's pretty rare. Generally I slather on the Nivea moisture  chapsticks. I tend to worry my lower lip to bleeding. I'm trying to cut the habit. It's gross looking and makes my dry lips look and feel horrible.
  • I was refering to lipstick, lipgloss, something beyond your own spit. Hee

I wear lipstick or lipgloss for work, going out, shopping, etc.

  • I don't wear makeup except for weddings & funerals.  I have about a million different tubes of chapstick though in my car, apt, office, etc.

  • TT, I used to be HORRIBLE about that.  Whenever I would find a dry edge it'd be NOMNOMNOM.  Gross, but true.  I have to remember to brush my lips with my toothbrush to get the dry nastays off.

  • I never, ever wear lipstick, lip gloss or anything else like that. I hate the way it looks and feels and for some reason my hair always gets into it.

  • I didn't even think of doing that, O-Face. That's brilliant. Between that and the obsessive chapsticking I should be good to go.

I'm pretty sure I have an oral fixation and that's a big part of the problem. I used to bite my nails, suck my thumb, I had a tongue ring, I chew a lot of gum, and I love suckers.

  • for a second, i read nola's response as "i wear lipstick or lipgloss for working out, shopping, etc."  nola is the new snooki.

i wear tinted lip gloss, and i like clinique's black honey almost lipstick for going out.  i keep one in my purse, my pen cup and the car.

  • I am horrible at applying and keeping lipstick on.  When I do use anything beyond lipstick I use the lipstain stuff that gives me some color without feeling goopy.

  • I wear chapstick most of the time, but I have some tinted lip balms and glosses I pull out.
  • Maybe once a month I'll slap on lipgloss.  I wear makeup more often now that I'm not working.
  • I also chew on my cuticles.  There was a good 2 months this year where I didn't, and now they look horrible again.

  • lipstick is gross.

i wear a lip moisturizer, and use liner to fill in color on my lips. it doesn't feel so cakey that way, and fades evenly.

sis is a makeup artist, and gave me a nice plumping lip gloss, and i love to use that for shine over the liner color.

now, i never even wear makeup. but when i go out this is all i use.

    Because you have good skin.

I actually need to wear make up but am too lazy to mess with it.

me too.  middle on the left is a source of shame.  SHAME.

  • And from years of doing this, I swear I have club fingers.

  • Yeah, I've never been able to kick the nail-biting, cuticle-gnawing habit. If I know I have something coming up that requires me to be more presentable than usual, I plan ahead and work on not chewing them. It usually works. But I can't for the life of me shake the everyday habit.

OMG i so don't!!!  i actually don't wear makeup because my skin is oily and i am prone to breakouts! but thank you for making me feel pretty!

i also gave away all my makeup to DH's neice last week because she needed to borrow something, and i don't loan makeup. i would rather not share cooties. so because it was all cheap, she could keep it all.

i need to wax my eyebrows, so i feel extra gross today.

  • I wear Rimmel Birthday Suit pretty much ever single day. If I'm going out, I'll slap on a red. Let me check MUA for my review of this neat little liquid lipstick thing I've worn before.

Black Radiance Liquid Lip Color. Some of the Lancome Juicy Tubes are deeply pigmented and can pass for lipstick and Cover Girl LipSlipcks are moisturizing, but not too lipsticky.

  • Very rarely, I'll wear a bit of gloss. But I'm blessed with naturally very pigmented lips, so I usually just go with lip balm.

  • I usually only wear my Sephora lip gloss.  I have a few MAC lipsticks that were free with the 6 empty containers recycling program but I never wear them.
