btw

i do not get the whole "staying at someone else's house for a few days."  my family, no one i knew, did this.  if you were staying at someone else's house for a few days, you were out of the old house.  4eva.

and if you tried to come back,

Re: btw

  • I was hardly ever allowed to go to sleepovers, so "staying at so-and-so's" was even an option for me.
  • I was only allowed to sleepover one chicks house, and only because she lived with her grandmother(code for no mens around).

  • sleeping over anyone's house before age 16 was a nightmare. i was one of the only kids not allowed to sleep over anyone's house, and thinking back i am wondering if it was because mom didn't know to trust what i was going to be doing. so lame.

i'd spend days at a time at relatives' houses, but that was during summer breaks when i wanted to spend time with my same-age cousins.
