my best friend is getting married in December, she caught the bouquet at my wedding. I am designing and making her invitations and doing her engagement shoot. I am also in charge of making her one of those cake card boxes, as well as picking out colors and reception decor! WHEW! its like i am getting married all over again lol but I like it, it gets my creative juices flowing again!

I bet this will be more fun to plan - less stressful!   I can't believe she's letting you pick colors and reception decor - I'm too much of a control freak for that! 

I may or may not be making someone's invitations this spring.  I say, bring back the planning!

So fun! I enjoy helping other people plan their weddings much more than I enjoyed planning my own (I think I am more creative when the pressure is off haha). Congrats to your friend and def. share ideas with us!

haha ok ill def. keep u posted on ideas and our progress! She didnt give me full reign to pick colors, she is def. a control freak! She does ask me for advice though cause I am pretty good with color matching and picking colors that go well together cause I studied art and graphic design for so long. Right now she is digging gray red and black, but I told her that her mind will change 100 times!! Even though we are best friends we are COMPLETELY different, but I am glad she is trusting me to help and give advice. For instance, my wedding was october halloween/elegant themed. She would NEVER do anything like this. She wants a very elegant, classy, sparkly diamond wedding. I am not a sparkly girl at all lol but it will be fun to go out of my element and do something different!
