We stayed in Negril but flew into Montego Bay. Let me look up the name of the hotel..
Ok I remember now! It's called Sunset on the Beach. (it has a sister resort you can also stay at called Sunset on the Cliff) Both, AI- includes all food, drinks, and room rate. It's at the every end of the 7 mile white sand Negril beach. I could have sworn I had a blog post about it but I can't seem to find it :-/
Anyway my best friend's husband's family owns that resort- I'd be happy to show you the pictures and or answer any questions about the area you might have! Every single resort on the 7 mile stretch is nice but quaint compared to U.S and other Caribbean standards. If you want something super HC+L I would recommend Sandals or Breezes.
Oh! I just remembered! There's another NEW resort right on the 7 mile stretch (maybe 2 or 3 resorts down from Sunset on the Beach where we stayed) that I would recommend also- very nice...

I wish I had responded earlier so I could have saved you some typing.
We're headed to Ocho Rios in about a week, so I was going to ask if you had any recs for stuff to do around there. But I will file all this information away for later, since I am sure we will love the island and want to return someday.
Ocho Rios was gorgeous! What resort are you staying at?
It'll require a cab drive but go check out the waterfalls! Ack, let me go look for the name of the falls we visited SO COOL.
