  • I forgot:

    $15 at container store

  • Yikes!!  That's a lot of stops!  The amount is not that bad.

I hope you at least got some good stuff.

  • nordstrom rack was next to the container store/whole foods and I stopped in but didn't buy anything.

btw, you are to blame for the container store purchase - I need to purge and organize my closet so I bought those shelf separator thingies you have.

in all reality, everything is really your fault. ;)

  • You hor!

I love those shelf separator things, they make the closet look very organized and it really does help create more space.  I think.

No one told you to buy $60 worth of booze.  It better have been cheap there at least.

  • is it justified if I say I bought 6 bottles?  2 of the bottles (champagne) were $15, the other 4 are wine.  I originally only had 4 in my hand but was told I'd get 10% off if I bought 6 bottles.  see, I am (sort of) MM!

  • my day was similar.  but i bought way more exciting stuff like light bulbs and batteries.

i dropped OFF my dry cleaning so i didn't have to pay for it.  yet.

  • I think it would be different if I spent $250 on a fab pair of shoes.  instead, all I have to show for it is MH's clean pants, some hangers, and fancy cheese for tomorrow night's dinner.  and I guess the champagne to console me while we watch 500 days of summer.

  • wah wah.  you still owe me a bottle of champagne.  then i don't have to go out and buy one.
  • and how does one only spend $12 at costco?  I'm baffled by this.

don't you get red or something when you drink alcohol?  best just to leave it with me.

Me too? I cannot leave Costco without spending at least $100/$150 and same with Target as well. Anytime I return something to Target I go and get something else.

MH is afraid to let me go to those two places alone Tongue Tied

  • This thread is so pitiful.

    lol

  • target:  i went straight to the return counter and didn't look around on my way there.  when i go with hubs, he literally guides me around with his hands on my shoulders so i don't get "distracted."  he is very good at staying focused/only buying stuff on the list.  boooring.

costco:  i pretended i was the hubs and went right for the batteries we need.  i didn't even stop for a free lunch at the sample ladies' kiosks.  as i was checking out, i realized i had grabbed AAA instead of AA.  in an amazing show of willpower, i quickly zoomed back to the battery area and swapped them out and got back in line without looking at anything else.

i get red, but no matter if i'm staying at home and sleeping right after imbibing.  and i only get red after a few glasses.

  • If I can get out of Costco spending less than $70ish, it's a miracle.  Even a quick stop finds me picking up all kinds of randomshit.

and this is how exciting my life is right now.  it also helps that i am a total cheapass, hate hate hate clutter, and have negative income right now.

  • you are my hero - I will always find an excuse to buy something.  especially if I don't need it.  :/
