I should post over on blended families, but don't want to.
The girls went to their dad's Monday night. They got to Denver about bedtime, so his first day with them was really yesterday. Yesterday he calls me, B is still vomiting. He asks me "Do you think she's got cramps?" WTF? Do you seriously think cramps would make her puke? And no, she's 10, and she hasn't started yet - she has a stomach virus. She couldn't even keep water down yesterday, but he didn't take her to the doctor that is less than a block from his house. Jerk.
I want my babies back. I hate when they have to go to his house, esp. for extended periods of time.

In all fairness to XH, cramps CAN be severe enough to induce nausea / vomiting. My sister had to deal with them, poor girl.
But it WAS jerky of him not to take her to a dr.

I would def make a stink and at least write to the Ramada corp aboutyour trip. THAT'S horrible! Esp if she's still vomiting.
As for Dink-well, I think most men have no clue and would think anything is the cause of cramps-no matter what age she is...
BUT-he def should've taken her to the doctor. THAT is just not right. Sounds like he's just not used to having the girls there (obviously) and doesn't know what to do-not your fault at all-but... hope the girls come back to you real soon! Are they getting along w their SM?
Agreed! I don't understand why he didn't take her to the doctor...that makes zero sense! I hope she feels better soon!
Apparently she is better today. He cancelled her dentist appointment that is a year overdue, so I'm pissed. They have to go to the dentist in Denver b/c they're on his insurance, and it won't cover Kansas dentists. She's got soft teeth and reallllly needed to go.
They come home on Sunday at noon. I wanted time for them to unwind and get back into a home-groove, so his suggestion of meeting at 6 pm (putting us home at 8) was not happening.
