Hi just wondering about Gymboree Classes?
Hi everyone!!! I have a six month old son and would love to start gymboree classes. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which location is good or even how much they cost?
Thanks
Re: Hi just wondering about Gymboree Classes?
Not really sure how much they cost, but I've heard they are a bit pricey. I usually see coupons for $ off classes in Parents and/or Parenting mags. Check out the link below - there's info on the classes they offer and there's a link to a free class pass. I've been wanting to look into this too, so your post was a good reminder. Try posting on the SoFla Bump board as well - you might get more responses from the ladies there although most frequest this board too. GL!

They start their pricing at around $75 dollars, but if you go in for a free lesson and sign up the day you go in, they waive all of the initial start up fees. After 3 months, they lower the price by 5% and then 3 months after that, another 5, etc.. until about a year, you're down to paying around $63 a month. 6 months is a good age for gymboree students. tehy're sitting up and wanting to be more active, but they still need a lot of 1 on 1 with their parents. This would be a level 2 class that htey would be in. Level 3 isn't that much fun, since they just want to crawl around and not pay attention to anyone. Level 3 is when they're starting to become mobile and cruising. Level 2 is great b/c they honestly learn a lot quicker from other kids in their class- they learn how to scoot, crawl, pick up stuff, etc... from watching others. I'd say do it if you want to stick it out for the long run, Level 4 and 5s are great because they actually participate!
(btw, i had my dd in gymboree until level 3 and i'm an ex-gymboree teacher :-D)
