Wow.  So how much do you get now?  Like 1 day?

Not sure yet, but I'm going to talk to him about 2 weeks. I think that's an appropriate amount of time, yes?

Yeeahhh.  You're well overdue 2 weeks.

Two weeks is appropriate.  When I started my job, I was given two weeks vacation and would earn an extra week when I hit my 5 year mark.

Oh man, I can't believe you didn't vacation time until now.  That's crazy.

One of the biggest reasons I love my job is the insane amount of vacation I get each year.  

Between sick time, floating holidays, and vacation time...I have about 33 paid days off a year.  I also am allowed five 4 hour flexes per quarter and we can have unlimited flexes in the summer.

That's one thing I love about my job. I get two weeks, and accrue sick time very quickly. Plus, those of us in Administration were told that we can take half days and not have them count against us since we usually work more than 40 hrs/week.

Holy cow, 3 years and no vacation?  You are way past due.  Yippee!!
