I know some of us were excited about NYE and others not so much.  Are you working today? Doing anything special tonight?

We are going out to dinner at Max London's with another couple.  Should be interesting to say the least.  They are kind of quiet and you know that Jer and I are very outgoing.

We have a hot date with our couch   I'm not sure I'll make it to midnight!  C still isn't over her cold, and while I was pretty good the past 2 days, I woke up this morning feeling worse again   So I'm thinking about starting the New Year with a good night's sleep!

We both get out of work early today, which is very exciting!!

Hello Girlie!!  I miss you too!!  :-)  I think I need to venture up your way for a night out.  I desperately need a decent mocktail. 

Did you get your new outfit from FedEx yet? 

K and I have no plans.  Last night she asked if I wanted to paint the nursery closet tonight.  Woo-hoo! I'm guessing take out and a night on the couch is in store for us.  But we've been so busy with the carpet install and everything that a quiet night sounds really nice right now.

I am at work with no plans on getting out of here early.

I think we are going to Pei-Wei for dinner tonight (has become sort of a tradition on NYE) and then our friend and her son will come over. We'll do some crafts with the kids, put them to bed, and probably break out some alcohol and play some Wii/watch tv/lounge. Truthfully, going to bed at 10 sounds good too.

Unfortunately I'm working today, our office is closing "early" today at 5 which is no benefit to me since I only work until 4:30. Tonight Jay and I are going to dinner at Outback then watching fireworks at the pier. Afterwards we will go home have a glass of champagne and write our goals for the new year.

I'm at work, and doubting we are going to get out early. We're getting Thai takeout and just hanging out together tonight. Jen has been out of town on NYE for the last three years, so I'm happy to not have to watch the ball drop by myself this year

We're actually going out tonite! We usually stay in on NYE but we decided that this year we would make a nite out of it! We're going to go to dinner then out dancing!!!!! Kind of a date I guess. Can't wait!!! Haven't been "out" in a while!

I go into work at 11 pm tonight so I will be celebrating NYE in the ER with my coworkers. We are even having sparkling cider. Then at 7 am when I get off we are off to the airport to go to Minnesota. Can't wait to see my mom and dad!

We do NYE at home. This year, it's in our new home and we're having a visitor, my nana who will be 80 in 3 weeks. I'm really excited because she's coming down today and staying the weekend. I worked longer hours each day this week so that I don't have to go in today--although I do have to go to IKEA to pickup frames for my lab/lounge decorating project (yay for getting paid to shop!). C gets off at 3:30pm, but because it's a holiday for the buses she will only get home 30 min early. We'll have dinner at home and maybe watch fireworks on TV, it's rainy here anyway. Then the rest of the weekend will be spent spending time together and making curtains for all our windows.

We are staying in and having our friend and her daughter over. I am putting out snacks and games etc.

we were supposed to go to a hockey game while her sister and sister's gf babysat, but that didn't happen. my friend passed away yesterday morning so i spent all day crying off and on. we decided we weren't up for going out so we gave our tickets to them instead, and they came back over after the game to ring in the new year with us.

We stayed in.  NotFroofy made us a steak dinner and we made the first fire in our fireplace in years.  The chimney had recently been repaired after trees started growing out of it, so we decided to test it out.
