I was holding my nephew and trying to switch it to another hand and boom.. on concrete. Now when I take a pic it shows up with lines all over. Is it doomed? Its a Nikon, any recs on where to take it to have it looked at. If its not fixable I dont want them to charge me an arm and a leg to tell me that.
Devastated
Re: I dropped my camera :(
I'd call Precision (512-467-7676) and ask for somebody in the repair department. Tell them what happened and ask if its likely fixable and something that they can do or if it would need to be sent to the manufacturer.
I've never actually used their repairs department, but they are so helpful and informative about everything else, without putting on a lot of pressure, I bet they'd give you honest information without trying to charge you for it.
