::throws self on the floor::
I want to have a good, old-fashioned 3-y.o. tantrum. The ILs are coming tomorrow (all day) to celebrate Xmas. Ooopsies, can't forget the Christ. ::eyeroll:: IDK how I'm going to survive. MIL wants to visit again to take DD's 6 month photos, but I'm shelling out the cash to a pro and telling MIL to stay home. She works my very.last.nerve.
Tomorrow, I'm dreading it.
Re: ::throws self on the floor::
Oy...that sucks.
Is your MIL a trained photog or just thinks she's awesome?
The X stands for Christ, you know, and can tell her if she starts up. The earliest Christians used the X (like the Greek X? I think? I'm too lazy to look this up, but I'm mostly right, trust me) to stand for the Christ. That's why we have that P with the X on top of it thingee in Catholic churches, and on Easter vestments - Christ, the Paschal lamb.
So tell her to suck it.
Exactly, BM. I might get my Roman emperor wrong, but legend has it that Constantine (?) had a vision in which the Chi (X) and Rho (P)--together meaning 'Christos,' I think---appeared together, with a message saying, "In this sign, you will conquer." One conversion to Christianity later, and boom.
You can wow her with that.
