this is unreal. is there any reason that employers are letting people go THIS WEEK? really, does it truly hurt their bottom line that much to wait until at least the first or second week of january to make families miserable?

She called her boss and he said, "Oh yeah. We switched you to seasonal at Thanksgiving. Can you, uh... send your stuff back to us?"
