WWYD with these things?

I'm trying to get rid of various things in my house that aren't needed.

I have a boot style leg cast and I can't decide what the best course of action would be.  Do I donate it? Where?

Also have a ton of 1/2 used pillar candles that I'll probable never light again... thoughts?

thanks

Re: WWYD with these things?

  • Put either on craigslist. ebay?

    List candles on T2T board.

Maybe donate the boot to a not-for-profit clinic.

I'll let you know if I think of more.

ETA: what about donating candles to church that does weddings/receptions?

  • I would craig's list the candles. Someone crafty can melt them down and remold them.

  • I'm giving my candles to our church.  We hold services in the evening and always burn candles.  I'd call a local hospital/clinic/friend who works in a medical field to find the best place to donate the cast.  We have one we need to get rid of too.

ETA: Thanks for reminding me to get those candles down from the attic!

  • Thanks for the suggestions!
