I'm back!!!
I was OOT for 12 days...went home to MI for xmas to visit family. While it was great to see family and friends and I could have stayed a few days longer, it definitely feels soooooo good to be back home with the furbabies!
DH and I took the train home, which was an
adventure in itself. It was 2 nights (2 1/2ish days) on the train each
way. It would have been miserable if we had coach seats, but we had a
roomette (seats turned into beds and we had a door to the room). It was
actually really relaxing...it was kinda refreshing to be taken away
from all of the usual conveniences like the internet! All of our meals
were included each day as well and it was surprisingly yummy!
I actually taught myself how to knit on the ride and knit DH a hat and me a scarf...well the scarf is almost done.

Your train ride sounds fun! I've always wanted to take a train somewhere far away.
