Anyone catch the Outback Bowl?
Holy geez! Auburn won that game 3 times, and still almost lost! Unbelievable.
Re: Anyone catch the Outback Bowl?
Unfortunately, I did see it.
I was waiting for tip off of the Purdue/WV game, and had to watch that mess instead. NW's kicker is horrid, and really, no one looked that good at all. Awful.
I was at the game! It was insane! We really did have to win that game 3 times...intense!
There should have been quite a few penalties called against NW that weren't (the celebration penalty in the endzone, the coach being out on the field, ect.). I'm not making excuses but it is true. Auburn didn't really play all that well but we did play well enough to win...three times.

I'm not sure what/who you are talking about..I've never seen any posts on here from any Auburn fans or otherwise talking Auburn up really big. The only thing I can think of is when we almost beat Bama, which is pretty darn big. They are currently ranked #1 and playing for the Championship...and I don't think ANYONE (Auburn fan or not) went into that game expecting us to lead for all but 2 minutes.
I think we all realize and understand that this is a building year, a whole new coaching staff and pretty much the same team as last year (which obviously wasn't good). I know that I'm proud of what Chizik and his staff have been able to do this year with the same players that we had last year and I know others feel the same way.
