Has anyone ever done this? If so can you recommend a company to use?
I have a friend who is looking into this since she will be home for a few months convelescing, however she isnt sure which ones are legit. I told her I would ask you girls.

There are very few legit data entry jobs. The companies that are do hire for such jobs typically have a waiting list a couple years out.
I work for ChaCha, which isn't data entry, but rather helping people locate information on the internet. I love it and found that it's a great at home job for a stay-at-home mom.
