The snow and ice crap we got over the last two weeks still hasn't melted and is now covered with a nice fresh layer of snow.

The temperature is currently 9. We aren't supposed to get out of the teens until Wednesday and then the high is 21.

Oh, yeah, and our well is frozen. So no water.

I, too, am sick of this freezing weather. . .that's why we moved south! Sorry about your well. . .that stinks!

Ok, on top of all this my little cousin called me an hour ago and told me that she and her friends went up to Beech mountain in her Scion to spend a few nights and now she is snowed in. DH and I are most likely going to have to go rescue her stupid a$$.

I had a feeling the winter was going to be worse this year just based on the summer weather, but this is getting old fast. One of our friends said today that the farmer's almanac said the mild months were Dec & Jan. Feb is supposed to be bad.

We have water back though! Yay. And I remembered that I had no rinse soap from my stay in the hospital so I didn't have to wait all day to take a bath. That certainly brightened my mood.

Stay warm y'all. I'm seriously considering a snuggie.

We just got back from Miami.  It was 84 the other day when we were sitting on the beach (with a cold beer:).  We came back to FREEZING weather and we have put South Florida on the10-15 year plan.

You do not need to move south, just move further east. Glad to hear you got your water back.
