After however many months of stress...
NOW I am being flooded with job interviews. I had the three last week (one being the one I accepted) and then just a few minutes ago I had two more phone calls, just 3 minutes apart. One was the school I interviewed with in MAY (Amye's school! 
) And one was another private school.
I am glad my resume is good enough to get past the other applicant's, but come on. I was a mess for 3 months. This couldn't have happend a LITTLE sooner? I am very grateful for my new position- but still. Way to wait until last minute

It was. It still is. It killed me to turn down the interview, and technically I am not under contract until later this week when I meet with the Superintendent. But I just can't do that. I have already been to the school, met one of my students, and several other teachers and they sent my welcome letter to the families.
I am very excited about my new job, and who knows- maybe some day I will move on to the other school! Or I could decide I love this place so much, I may never leave!

My new principal's name is Jude as well. I like the name, and it's funny because it is just not a common name.

I am so sorry! Schools can be so frustrating!! They whine that they can't find speech therapists, I applied to 3 last April and they called me back in August, the EI place I applied to in April got back to me, oh I don;t know...immediately!!
At least you have a position and can start that babymaking!!!!!! Woohoo!
