New and Looking for advice

Hello everyone!  Guess I will do a little intro first...

My name is Tara.  I was born and raised in Southern Ca but we are now in Virginia Beach (over a yr now) thanks to the US NavyWink  My home board is the Military Newlyweds but thought I would pop over here to ask my question.

Our apt lease is up in June, but we have to find, apply, and sign for a new apartment by April 1st to give our move-out notice and before my H leaves for training in which I will be moving us myself.

Do any of you know of nice and affordable apartments in the Virignia Beach area? The closer to Little Creek Naval Station the better!  We are looking for a two bdrm. If utilities are included in the rent then our price range is $1,350 and under.  If they are not included in the rent then we would like to stay under $1,000.

Thanks in advance and hope everyone is having a wonderful evening!

  • I used to live in Marina Shores which is right down Shore Drive from Little Creek.  However, our 2 bedroom apt. ran us $1400 with no utilities included.  It was pretty nice, but only live in the top floor otherwise you'll never sleep.
