Recommend your realtor (seller's agent)

H and I are leaving Nashville, so need to sell our beloved East Nashville house - and fairly quickly. Any great realtor experiences you can share, in particular those with experience in Nashville's more urban neighborhoods?

TIA for any advice!

Re: Recommend your realtor (seller's agent)

  • John Rula (http://www.rula-delcarmen.com/)  He used to work with Village Realty so I would imagine he's acutely aware of the up and coming urban areas of Nashville.

He's a super high-energy, real number-cruncher type of guy.  Works extremely hard for you.  Besides working with DH on buying a house (very satisfied), he sold a condo of a someone I knew in a shockingly quick period of time without coming down very much on market value (I don't think it had been on the market more than a week or two, and this was in a complex where a lot of other condos had gone unsold for months).

  • Cindy Stanton Fey of Crye-Lieke. She's fantastic and is very helpful and really works hard for you.
  • I actually fired a couple when we were selling our house because they weren't quick to restock fliers (took a week!) or call me back among other more important issues.  However, Forrest Moody was referred to me by several people and he is the best realtor I've met for buying and selling. He went above and beyond. He was working for Coldwell but they recently changed the name to Weichart or something like that.
