Hello! After reading a post below, it reminded me...you work at Holmes, right? My good friend April just got out of the L&D area (after 2 weeks due to pre-term labor). Hopefully she'll be back soon to have that baby!!!
Do you only work in the NICU? Hopefully you won't meet them, then. How's all the driving going for you? Must be rough with gas prices.
4 years TTC including countless tests, 2 surgeries, and one failed IUI
Scheduled IVF for April 2013--SURPRISE, don't need it! EDD 9/6/13
Re: Layne
I cover both the NICU and the newborn nursery. I don't get every baby in the NBN, just the ones who don't already have a pediatrician or whose pediatrician doesn't come to the hospital. That usually means I have between half and 2/3 of the babies in NBN (sometimes more).
The driving sucks. I go in to work between 4 and 5pm and hit the afternoon rain every frickin' day. Ugh. And gas is rough. I fill up usually twice a week. Last month I figured out that I spent about $500 in gas and tolls. I can't wait to find a job in my area. Who knows when that will happen, though??
