Sonography
Is anyone in the field? I'm thinking of looking into sonography as an option for Plan B should my job continue to be so slow. Can anyone offer some advice?

I'm not in the field (I'm in Nuclear Medicine) but I work with a lot of Sonographers. They love their job. You can either specialize in general ultrasound or the Cardiac side. Both can be busy... and have options - working in a hospital, Dr's office, Outpatient facility etc.
I went to Florida Hospitall College of Health Sciences and they have an Ultrasound program. Their website is www.fhchs.edu if you'd like to investigate.
