Fav Movie of '09...... Go!

Hey Ladies.. I was lurking on some other boards and stumbled upon a post about fav movies..... So what is yours?

New Moon- By far!

I would have to say District 9, but honestly I didn't really get to see any of the movies that came out around Thanksgiving and Christmas so choices are limited.  BUT I really did like District 9 a lot.

Really? DH has been trying to get me to rent it... I have been skeptical, but now im thinking I need to give it a chance.

well. . .its not for everyone, I know there are a lot of girls here that don't like it.  main complaint is that it moves slowly.  it does move slowly but I was so moved by the story line, it honestly moved me in a way that I have never been moved by a movie before.

There were a bunch of really great ones: HP half blood prince, hangover, avatar, star trek, up, watchmen

but i think my fave was Coraline!

Ohhh, totally forgot about Harry!  This was my favorite HP movie so far too!

hmm.. I havent seen Coraline, it seems cute tho. I that the kinna cartoon one?

HP- I was kinna disapointed in it. It was my least fav out of the series.

 Hangover was pretty funny, this was the Favorite on the other board, like  8 outta 10 loved it.

I didn't see many that came out this year...

Of what I saw, I guess Star Trek would be my fav.  It was just pretty good.

Me and DH just watched that the other day and It was sooo much better than I thought. I liked it.

it's really cute & REALLY pretty - everything is handmade instead of animated, so it looks like the nightmare before christmas. the 3D version is pretty sweet!

well, I will definately be checking it out... I will prolly love it c NMB4XMAS Is also one of my favs....

I think I have to go with Star Trek as my favorite movie on 09, purely for the fact that it was entertaining on all levels.  Funny, sad, suspenseful, etc.

I'm terrible at picking favoirtes. I really like Coraline, Star Trek, HP(even though it was one of my least favs, I love HP) like others mentioned.

Others I liked -- Zombieland was pretty good, The Proposal was cute, and I enjoyed Transformers.
