I don't normally make any, but I bought into it and made a couple this year.
1) eat at least 4 salads a week. I like salad, I just forget about it.
2) try 1 new recipe a week. I tend to stick to the same several that I know well. I'm branching out.
and 3 I'm still considering. I may take OOM classes this year. I'm feeling a draw towards spirituality and this is a step. Maybe not the right step, but a step none the less.
Re: New Years resolutions?
I don't normally make any resolutions because I usually only stick with them for a week or so.
I would like to continue with the weight loss - I've lost about 17lbs since the end of August, and I'd like to lose at least 15-20 more before we'd start TTC.
I'd also like to continue on the path that DH and I are on. We've made a lot of progress, and things with us are looking up.
Yea, I'm with you on the weightloss. I've been stagnant for a while. I'm feeling very... jiggly and it's making me uncomfortable. I don't give a schit if I go down in sizes I just don't like the way my body looks right now.
1. Make and stick to a budget. DH and I never needed to worry about this, but times have certainly changed.
2. More sex.
1. Save up some major moolah. I liked saving last year more than I thought I would. I like spending too, but damn---it just costs too much to be a spendy b*tch.
2. Eat healthier and more consistent. I have bad habits when it comes to food. Having a "why the hell not?" attitude doesn't really help with the good eating.
I also have the new recipe resolution, but I think for myself it's more realistic to hope for 2 new recipes per month instead of one a week.
I was doing a lot of really healthy things as far as eating well, drinking a lot of water, and overall taking care of myself in the 2-3 months before the wedding, and I'd like to try and pick up some of those good habits again.
And I guess my third one would be to get a house; hopefully in the first half of the year.
