NYE Party

I don't have any pictures yet, because I'm HORRIBLE at taking pictures and hoping that SIL/friend sends me some pictures.

1.  I looked Hot and realized the FMB is right...it's not about my imperfections or focusing on that.  It's about feeling good and projecting it.

2.  People watching at these things is awesome.  Very many exhibits of awful clothing choices.  And bad behavior.

3.  The limo was for 40 people.  10 people for 4 quadrants of town.  Yeah...out of 280 fecking people.  FAIL.

4.  The champagne wasn't passed out until around 11:45 and I bet around 40-50 people got champagne.  FAIL

5.  The beer ran out around 12:30.   FAIL

Despite all of that, H, myself and two other couples had a BLAST.  It was one of the most enjoyable and memorable NYEs I've ever had.  We didn't get arrested AND we ran into the limo again and got a ride home.  :)  I felt under the weather the next day, but still claimed it was awesome.

We did leave the party around 1 and headed to local bars which were fun still even after there were huge amounts of people out.

Re: NYE Party

  • That sounds like lots of fun!  Sadly, I've only ever been invited to one NYE party, and my parents wouldn't let me go because I didn't want to bring my no-fun boyfriend of the time.

Why did you have to bring your (no fun) BF or not go?

  • Because my mom is the guardian of teenage relationships, that's why.
