Re: Any one have a good Hypo Algerenic (sp) bodywash?

  • What are you allergic to? I think most of what we use would be considered hypoallergenic, but all that means is less likely to cause allergic reactions. So the best thing to do is avoid what you are actually allergic to! Avoiding sodium laurel and laureth sulfates is a good start if you have sensitive skin.

A lot of us use castille soaps (real soap as opposed to detergent, that is made with vegetable oils). Dr. Bronner's is a brand you can buy many places, and they have an unscented option.

As for face wash I do oil cleansing with coconut oil but you might try companies like Kiss My Face or Alba.

  • Bar soaps generally have less ingredients (and thus possible irritants) than liquid soaps. So, I would ditch the body was and go for a bar. DH swears by Aveeno's oatmeal soap. But, it depends on what ingredients you, in particular, have a problen with,

  • I react to anything scented and was nervous to leave my standby to try something new.  I am now in LOVE with Kiss My Face olive oil bar.  I just get the plain olive oil one...it's not a body wash but it works great.  DH likes it too so I was happy about that!
