Husband's 25th Birthday

Any ideas on what I can do for my husband's 25th birthday? It's a month away and I am tired of people coming to our house for parties I am ready for a nice dinner and a night out. Anyone have any suggestions? We will probably have a group of about 15 people.

Re: Husband's 25th Birthday

  • How about getting one of those small rooms that are available at restaurants for showers, etc?  You can get the set menu that offers guests about 3 selections and help you keep spending under control.  You might also be able to work out a deal on liquor with the restaurant.

Do you have any Argentine or Brazilian steakhouses near you?  Some offer all-you-can-eat meat at a set price and even include a bottle of wine per person.  This can be a really nice all-inclusive option.

Good luck!  The best part about eating out... no clean up.  :)

  • Do you have any fondue restaurants, like the Melting Pot? Those are fun. Or a Dave and Busters. It's like a Chucke Cheese for adults. They have grown up games you play and really good food like burgers, steak, etc.
  • For DH's 25th birthday I took him to Fogo De Chao (brazilian steakhouse) and then arranged for all of his friends to meet as at a bar called the Quarter for a surprise. I made a big deal about it being his "quarter of a century" birthday. He wanted to go home after dinner but made him go to the Quarter to celebrate. He was surprised for sure! Maybe that will help spur on some ideas. Is there a quarter bar in Houston?
