Change is Good
This is a silly post but I have to share. My company's IT department made it really hard to change my email address when I got married so I didn't do it - until a few days ago. So now my work email address reflects my married name. I got married two and a half years ago! I've been going by both names since then and it's been annoying.
Also, my company migrated to Internet Explorer 7 and Microsoft Office 2007 in the past 2 weeks. We have an entire new email client platform, too.
Good thing I embrace change! To be honest, it feels good to start a new year with all these new things.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who still hasn't changed everything to my married name. My old college credit card is still in my maiden name and I just haven't gotten around to changing it. On the few times I've used it and they asked for id I just go "oh I just got married and haven't changed it yet" and it works every time! haha

I know what you mean about your IT dept though. When I got married it took about 6 mo to get everything changed over. Not because I delayed anything, but because the IT dept made it all insanely difficult. Every now & then I still find things in my maiden name. Now it just makes me laugh.
