We saw Sherlock Holmes this week. Overall it was very good. I have one issue with the movie, but don't want to spoil it for anyone. I WILL announce that I covet covet covet the boots Rachel McAdams was wearing in her final scene.

I wanted to go see Nine, until I found out Fergie was in it. I boycot everything she does.

H saw Avatar over the weekend and told me the story sucked, and that it was like Dances With Wolves in space. I'll probably see it when it comes out on DVD, but that's a big maybe.

I don't care for Fergie because she totally methed up the Black Eyed Peas. Actually, she replaced the original female vocalist when the orignal left because they decided to become more mainstream. I liked them better when they weren't all poppy.

 I heard the Avatar story was like Dances with Wolves, too.

Yep I thought that too, we saw the 3D one over the weekend and that was pretty cool, but clearly they spent so much time on the 3d effects that they forgot the storyline.

I figured the storyline wasn't all that it cracked up to be, but the effects were the crowd pleasers.

i never saw dances with wolves - but I did shee Avatar in 3D over the weekend - the storyline was meh - but the special effects (and 3D were cool) - to me, it was worth the money to see it in the theater because the effects won't be the same on a small screen.
