I wake up and saw a text with my Mom. My Aunt has cancer, again, for the third time. When I called my mom, she didn't answer, nor did she call me all day yesterday or today to tell me WTF is going on.
So, just because I was going to stay at a hotel instead of with her, she is witholding information about my cancerous Aunt. Way to go, Mom.

I'm sorry about your Aunt.
Are you sure your mom hasn't been spending time with your Aunt/at the hospital/etc. - is wrapped up in the situation and isn't trying to "punish" you?
