I'm just eaten most of a can of mandrin oranges
and it was tasty.
And...now for TMI...
they're a go-to food for me when I feel queasy. Because if you throw them up? they're actually not that gross half-digested. Nor do they smell particularly vile.
(I have a trash can sitting next to me, I think I'll be Ok but, just in case.)
Re: I'm just eaten most of a can of mandrin oranges
i hear ya sister.
i'm sucking on a jolly rancher right now because i know they don't taste half bad coming up.
i think the spicy foods have it out for me. i think that's what put me over the edge last night. i'm stickin' with corn flakes until 13 weeks.
No. It makes the queasies in perfectly healthy, non-pregnant people.
Ew. Fish.
I don't like most fish so I think I'll skip that one.
I have a few 'ginger chews' left and I'm picking up more on my wya home.
ginger chews are a godsend
they are chewy 'candy' made w/ ginger. marketed as a 'cure' for all sorts of stuff.
World Market carries them. you can also order on amazon:

(and I think 'whole foods' type places have 'em)
There was a brand I liked better that no longer exists.
(there WAS an advantage to migraines--I already learned my cures for nausea :-P)
They also have ones that are *just* crystalized/candied ginger root...they're not as good, IMO, they taste better but the texture is off.
