Economists and anyone with an opinion (more political stuffs)
What do you think of the Federal Reserve and how paper money has decreased in value so much over time, whereas gold has not? What are your opinions on Ron Paul's End the Fed book (and really any movement that thinks the federal reserve is behind the economic crises and that it needs to go away)? What are the upsides to having a federal reserve?

my opinions don't stray to far from Bacon's mom's. (Not that that's a shock.)
I think the gold-standard might not be easy to get back to but I think *some* standard is important. ANd we suck by not having one.
But most of my economist crap was influenced by Ludwig VonMeises (sp) so...yeah, builtin bias.
