Since I see that a lot of you lovely ladies moved here, are any other Natives? I was born and raised here in AZ and never left, well only for vacation.
If you moved here, where from?

Re: Who is a Native?
Nope, not a native. Not even close to a native, haha!
We moved here for Massachuettes. We lived on Cape Cod!
I moved here when I was 6 and I've been stung by a scorpion, oh and my mom's car ran over a rattlesnake (when they were still in town)--so I consider myself an honorary native :P
I was born in Washington State though.
I'm in the non-native category. Moved here in June from Seattle.
Also a native! Born and raised in Phoenix!
I now live in Tucson, and I also lived in Orlando for just over 5 months when I worked for Disney World (college program), but otherwise, I always lived in Phoenix.
Graduated from Greenway High School - class of '97.
Oh, and my mom moved to Phoenix from Wisconsin when she was a little girl, and my dad moved here from Missouri when he was a kid also. My dad also graduated from Greenway High School - first graduating class in '76.
My stepdad is a native, and so is his dad (my grandpa).

Where did you go to elem/middle/hs??
I was born in Davenport, Iowa and moved here when I was little. I still consider Iowa my home though. I grew up in Glendale as well
I went to Bicentennial Elementary, Challenger Middle School and Independence High School. What about you?
Greenbrier for elementary, hillcrest for middle, mountain ridge for 2 years of hs (it sucked) and then went to deer valley
I am a native. I did however live in Denver for almost 2 years while I was in school.
When did you graduate from Independence? Both my cousins went there and my aunt has worked there for over 15 years.
Jenn and I also have cousins that went there.
ME Me Meeee
DH and I are both Natives!
I was born here...I have lived in Ohio and California, but have spent MOST of my life here in AZ. I've been back in AZ now since 1990
Wow quite the popular place! I graduated in 2003. My older sister also went there and graduated in 2000.
What year did you graduate from Deer Valley?I went there
Not a native. I was born in Seattle but I've lived in Hawaii, Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin. DH is originally from Illinois.
But I'm giving birth to a native, and I'm pretty sure we'll be in AZ for life.
::Raises hand and shouts "ME ME"::
Both myself and DH are natives and both our parents moved here as children and grew up here in good ol AZ too so they are honoraries. We were both born and bred on the east side and can't stand any cold. blood is way too thin i guess
Nice!!! I looooved DV. Graduated in 2000
My mom has taught at Independence for 25 years and my soon-to-be-sister-in-law graduated from there. Who knew it was such a popular school?
I consider myself a native, although my parents were in CA when I was born. I moved here at about 2 yrs of age, mom and grandpa were born in Glendale. Grandma moved here when she was 14. So, I have roots here.
I remember when Independance High was being built, and my mom and I were horse back riding around the construction site on a weekend to check things out. That whole surrounding area was all farmland at the time. A security person came by right when my horse crapped on the walk way of the second story. I was soooo embarrassed.
I went to Tolleson High, Maryvale High, and Camp Verde High.
