Holy crap have you guys been busy. All I have are random thoughts
I love my family a lot and I really needed to the time away from work, but two weeks is too long to spend with them. Fortunately they have a large house and we can all go to our corners.
One of my good friends from home is on bed rest until she delivers her twins. She's 31 weeks and her doctor's goal is to get her through this week. On the upside, they have their adoption hearing for their nephew (they've had custody for a couple of years now) is also this week. I'm very happy for them.
I realized yesterday why I dislike flying so much. It's the people. I hate being trapped with that many whiny, demanding idiots. Why would you decided to turn off your phone while standing in the aisle as other passengers are boarding the plane?

You're not. They got yet another continuance, so we're supposed to go to court early next month. H got an offer to possibly see SD for 8 hours the weekend after Christmas, which was cruel as we got the offer less than a week before we left and his ex-wife knows we spend the holidays in another time zone. We turned it down on the grounds that there was no guarantee that SD would be there and I don't trust her to twist any visit to her advantage. There has been no offer of phone contact.
She also tried to hide from a process server in her house...after the server saw her look out at him.
Oy vey...She is smrt re: 'hiding' from the process server. What a wench.
Good luck going forward. I'm so sorry this is taking forever. Your poor DH, I'm sure he misses SD something fierce. Who knows what isht bio-mom is putting in her head too. Sucks all the way around.
