Ay yi yi

I am still getting calls from people I worked with. Normally, I wouldn't answer but because I can't tell if this is someone calling about a job or something, I pick up. And it's not. So I have to tell them that I'm not with the company and they get all shocked and surprised, then tell them who to call.

Think I can squeeze money out of my former employer for my cell phone bill? Yeah, I don't think so either.

Re: Ay yi yi

  • is it completely illogical to ask these callers if they may have a contact they may give you for potential future employment?
  • Zilla, I would but they work at physician offices out of state. I can't really work in California and live in Phoenix, ya know? I may contact a few of them to use as a reference but we'll see.
