H's graduation date was definitely changed. Gawddamnit. Now I get to rebook my flight and pay the assraping rebooking fee, PLUS I'll have to help the ILs get theirs rebooked, too, since they're 100% helpless when it comes to this kind of thing.

Be sure to explain the whole situation while being polite. A lot of customer service reps want to help. If they can't, ask for a manager or supervisor. Always be pleasant and polite. That's how I got a diamond replace on my e-ring for free.
