Counting blessings
So, when my goddaughter was in the NICU, there was a pair of twins born at 25 weeks and some change (my gd was born at 27 weeks). Well, the little girl twin did well but the little boy twin was on a vent and had a trach in at home. I had heard he had some sort of liver cancer a few months ago.
I ended up working with his grandpa and just checked my work email; apparently the little boy twin passed away. I'm so sad for their family - I'm sure they were expecting it but I just can't imagine their pain. Just a reminder to count what blessings we have I suppose.
