So sweet last night...

I was picking up my nephew at the Manch airport and it just made my heart swell to watch all the "reunions" whenever a passenger would meet up with his/her family/friends. ?It reminded me of that scene (real footage, I believe) in "Love, Actually". ?I got goosebumps watching a mom & her newborn reuniting with her sisters and them seeing the baby for the first time. ?Then there was the 5/6 yr old little girl who shrieked and giggled hysterically when she saw her Grandma & Grandpa walk through the gate.

I never really noticed this in airports before; I think because it's usually so crowded. ?But this was 12 am last night, so I had time to just watch what was going on. ?So neat. ?: ?)

Re: So sweet last night...

  • Auw, witnessing airport reunions give me such a warm, fuzzy feeling! Reuniting with loved ones sure makes the long and yucky flight worth it! :)
  • Part of me wants to take the kids to Manchester to pick up DH from the airport next week when he returns from the business trip he'll be leaving for on Sunday after reading this, but I think I'm gonna pass!  LOL!

  • i always get that feeling too.  when DH's aunt comes to visit us she usually comes into manch late. its not that busy then and you get to see all those reunions. it puts a smile on my face Smile
  • I absolutely love that, too.  It gives me the good chills.
