Joining the ranks of the unemployed.
I was given the news an hour ago by the CEO/Owner and CFO. I tried to stay tough, and almost managed but I faltered and disolved into tears. They had already told me I could leave early if I wanted to after I turned into a blubbering idiot I said I would take them up on that offer.
The good thing is they asked me to stay through the month and I'll get a month's severance, plus there's COBRA.
