I'm an idiot.
Kool and the Gang was on during the halftime of the Orange Bowl last night. Watching it, I was all, "Where's Kool!?"
sFIL didn't know what the hell I was talking about, so I told him that Kool was a tall white dude who played the keyboard, and he was NOWHERE in sight. I was all up in arms for the lack of Kool.
It wasn't until after the show was over that I realized that Kool and the Gang =/= KC and the Sunshine Band.
Pop culture FAIL. *smh*
