Christmas clearance stuff

I am so bummed.. I am a little late but I went to Target the other day to check out Christmas clearance (for decorations, cards, etc), and there was seriously nothing.  A couple fake trees and 2 shelves of stuff left.  That's insane!

I did get a bunch of toys on clearance (like 50% off) for my friend's kids bdays (since they were baby toys), and spent more than I should have, but I am so disappointed that the Christmas stuff was so picked over!

(BTW DH went the Sat night / day after Christmas) and said it was already majorly picked over.  Bummer!)  

Anyone score any good Christmas clearance?

we went to target the day after and it was insane.  Most stuff was already picked over.  I got the busy bee play toy for 1/2 off this past sat. I was so excited about that but i didn't get anything for next year.  We have so much as it is.

I heard yesterday that the new Target here in ROC still had a lot of Christmas for 90% off.  I'm planning to stop there today and see if it's true

No god x-mas clearance scores this year, I did awesome on Halloween though.  I heard this year though that because of the economy stores didn't order much stuff and things like lights were hard to find from the begining of Dec even.

I am not buying anything this year but at Hobby Lobby in Buffalo their stuff is was 70% off last week and they still had a decent selection.

Dh and I needed to go to Target and pick up socks...hahaha on 12/26 and it was a crazy place. It was actually disgusting. I have never before gone out to a store on 12/26 and will never venture out again.

It was filled with rude people, pushing, grabbing with their children trying to get a great deal. It was like black Friday all over again but almost worse in a way considering not even 24 hours previous they were all in celebrating Christmas and getting gifts and it was more important to come out and buy more stuff than stay in with your family.

I went on Saturday and picked up a bunch of ornament sets for 75% off that I am using to make an ornament wreath (I jumped on that bandwagon way late!).  It was really picked over though.  I was hoping to find some Christmas dishtowels but there weren't any.  I did pick up a set of pretty placemats that I am going to attempt to make clutch purses out of once my new machine arrives.

Roc girls - I did venture out to the new Super Target in Chili today, and the man told me they were unloading a whole truck of Christmas stuff today at 90% off.  Apparently because they were a new store, they ended up with soooo much.  Might be work checking out.  I saw a lot of great ornaments, but we just don't need them so I left with nothing.
