Could we talk about Casey Johnson for a minute?

I didn't know who this girl was until yesterday.

So, Tila Tequila was engaged to her. Interesting.

I hate to hear that anyone passed away, but I don't understand not finding something to do with your life besides being an heiress. Is heiress an occupation?

Go to Africa and help some kids

Write a book

Start a business

Something?

Re: Could we talk about Casey Johnson for a minute?

  • I think her dimple was fake.

that's all I have on her.

  • She adopted a kid from Khazakstan (sp?), but wasn't really taking care of it at the time of her death.

I agree, from the sound of it, she wasn't doing anything that productive with her time.  Her dad owns the Jets, couldn't she have went to work for daddy or something?

  • I remember seeing her as a "socialite" a few years ago.  And some "heiress" show on VH1 or something.  She seemed sporadic and materialistic and shallow.  No surprise or anything.

  • It seems that this is true for most heirs/heiresses.
  • I just think that after 20-22 years of shopping, money, drugs, parties, it would get old.

  • I didn't realize she was more than Tila's fiance until today either.

One thing about Trump, his kids got educated and work.

  • 1.  I think it's a sad situation.  It seems like when people lack direction or motivation, it usually ends badly.

    2.  It's so childish of me, but I snicker at her dad's name:  Woody Johnson.

  • The Johnson family is SC Johnson a Family Company (i.e. Johnson&Johnson) so she didn't really need to work even though her trust fund got cut off.

I find it interesting that Jamie Johnson, her cousin (I think) is rarely mentioned anymore when discussing the family. He was the one that did Born Rich, the documentary about the heirs/heirisses and was chastized by his family.

  • L, Yeah, I saw a special with him. He found something to do, and good for him.

Sidenote: I hate the way he speaks. He sounds like he has cotton in his mouth.

I think it is a sad situation, but it's one of many sad situations.

  • I suppose she could have worked for the family business. Word on the streets is that she was doing a lot better, until this engagement. She was getting her act together, going to get her trust fund back, her daughter back, etc. then WHAM! Tequila put her back on the floor, and then this. It's sad, really.
