i got DH MarioKart for christmas, for the Wii. we've been playing it nonstop in our spare time together.
i can't get the freaking background music out of my head. Waluigi is my favorite because he chatters nonstop.
i also find myself wishing i had a turtle shell to throw at other cars on the road.
Re: confession
I pray for this on the daily.
Crap...I Mean Crafts
Might I suggest Super Mario Brothers, then?
I am not a fan of bullet bills but they worked out in my favor.
I too wish I had turtle shells to throw at a-hole drivers, and you and I must be kindred spirits, because Luigi is my 2nd fav (next to, of course, Yoshi)
TD - YES! WE! DO!
DH got that one for xmas also from whoever had him as their family SS. we played it once or twice, but it's not as fun to play two players as it is to play one at a time. so our time is spent with mariokart because it's more fun to play together.
i got some mystery game for my DS, so i sometimes just play that - it has mahjong on it. i am now a mahjong nerd.
Super Mario Galaxy, I love. Great single player experience. Mew Super Mario Bros. Wii is awesomesauce, too, especially when you get a full set of 4 players on it. It's the kind of game that threatens marriages and friendships.
I'm nerding out on the single player experience by trying to collect every star coin, thus unlocking the 9th world. I especially enjoy the throwbacks to previous Mario games, especially Super Mario World (my all-time favorite).

i thought i'd never understand it, because i only saw groups of old chinese women playing it on cruise ships. but there's a point in this DS game where you have to play a quick game of mahjong, and i have to say it's a lot of fun!
i will need to buy mah jong soon.
I loved that mah jong was on my computer games when I upgraded to Windows 7.
busy, yes i do. i rarely play with it anymore, though. but now that we have some new games for the Wii, i may want to use it more often so i can use my fit board.
we still have several characters to unlock, pmeg! but we played until i practically fell asleep last night. then i picked a fight with DH about something and went to bed. if he wasn't working tonight, i know for sure i'd be playing the thing when i got home. (instead, i am watching my recorded Dr. G eposides.)
We do too. We just got him unlocked and now when we play, he's my character. He has a nice tongue.
My only complaint is that I feel like we need a bigger TV or something. When you play 2 player, your screen is so small that I don't feel I see the whole track. That and it could be I secretly suck.
we have a huge livingroom TV. we bought it as a housewarming gift to ourselves when we moved. i always hated it because it's so big. but now, i feel like it's not even big enough because of what the screen looks like with 4 players! it's 48 or 52" and i hate Hate HATE that i find myself saying that it's so good we have such a big screen.
